Final Specification for Flushometer-Valve Toilets (Water Closets)
EPA released a final specification for flushometer-valve water closets (i.e., flushometer-valve toilets) on December 17, 2015. Manufacturers that produce toilet fixtures and flushometer valves meeting EPA's efficiency and performance criteria can apply to have their products certified to earn the WaterSense label. Before submitting products for testing, manufacturers must have a partnership agreement (PDF)(3 pg, 336K, About PDF) with EPA in place.
