On October 9, 2014, EPA and the Alliance for Water Efficiency (AWE) co–sponsored the annual WaterSense Partner of the Year Award luncheon. The luncheon featured guest speaker Mike Shapiro, EPA’s Deputy Assistant Administrator for Water; the 2014 WaterSense Sustained Excellence, Partners of the Year and Excellence Award winners; and AWE's 2014 Water Star Award winner, Amy Vickers.
