Water Quality Assessment TMDL Summary Information for Nevada

Nevada's Integrated Report

On April 6, 2016, EPA partially approved and partially disapproved Nevada's 2014 303(d) list of waters requiring a Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL). EPA approved waters Nevada identified as requiring a TMDL, and disapproved the omission of a water impaired due to mercury in fish tissue and revised the location of another previously-added water impaired due to mercury in fish tissue. EPA's action added the identified water body – pollutant combinations to the 303(d) list.

Following a public comment period on EPA's notice to add waters, on September 21, 2016, EPA transmitted to the state the final list of added water body – pollutant combinations and a responsiveness summary addressing how public comments were considered in the final EPA decision. Provided below are the April 2016 partial approval / partial disapproval letter and the September 2016 letter and enclosure presenting the final list of added waters and responsiveness summary (see EPA documents). The State's 303(d) lists are available at the link under State Documents, below.
