Arizona Department of Environmental Quality is responsible for conducting monitoring, assessment, reporting under CWA Sections 303(d) and 305(b), and TMDL development for the State of Arizona. TMDLs in Arizona
Information on the status of TMDLs being developed or previously developed by Arizona DEQ can be found on Arizona DEQ's TMDL Program Monitoring and Assessment page and EPA's Water Quality Assessment Report for Arizona. (Please note that the EPA TMDL tracking system is updated periodically but may not include all approved TMDLs.) In addition, EPA completed one TMDL for copper in Pinto Creek, AZ at the request of the State of Arizona.
