Expert technical assistance helps Nevada businesses reduce costs and improve environmental performance

With funding from the U.S. EPA Pollution Prevention Grants program (formerly PPIS), the Nevada Business Environmental Program (NBEP) at the University of Nevada-Reno provides free and confidential regulatory and Pollution Prevention assistance to Nevada businesses. NBEP clients include the agriculture sector, auto repair shops, dry cleaners, hotels and motels, mines, metal finishers, and government operations.

Cumulatively, businesses saved a total of $223,500 over a one year period by adopting waste reduction practices recommended by NBEP.
