About Waste Program & Contact Information

The Waste Management Division oversees, manages, and directs the activities related to the development and implementation of the hazardous waste, solid waste, pollution prevention, and underground storage tank programs under Subtitles C, D, and I of the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA).

Contact Information

Our Environmental Information Center (EIC) can be contacted for general environmental information, EPA publications, directions on using the Internet, and contacts for other agencies. The EIC is open from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. (Pacific Standard Time), Monday through Friday, and is closed on federal holidays.
