Metal Finishers
Typical hazardous wastes generated by metal finishers include sludges that contain heavy metals such as chromium, cadmium, and/or lead, spent plating solutions containing metals and/or cyanides, flammable liquids, and both alkaline and acidic corrosive liquids. If improperly managed, these wastes could be a source of significant environmental harm and a threat to public health.
