Join us for a Science to Achieve Results (STAR) progress review meeting on research projects from the Request for Applications (RFA) Anthropogenic Influences on Organic Aerosol Formation and Regional Climate Implications. Registration is free and open to the public.

STAR grantees and EPA scientists will discuss the results from their studies on the interaction of man-made (anthropogenic) and natural (biogenic) emissions. These projects use field measurements to better understand how people influence the processes contributing to organic aerosols from multiple sources, including the linkages between gas phase chemistry and the formation of secondary organic aerosol. This will improve understanding of the important chemical mechanisms and climatic properties of organic aerosol.

This RFA supports the National Program, Air, Climate and Energy (ACE) Research Program, which examines the interplay between air pollution, climate change, and the dynamic energy sector to develop innovative and sustainable solutions for improving air quality and taking action on climate change. The results of the research efforts support policies that have far-reaching and positive impact across the nation.
