New Use: A site identified as having new use refers to a site or OU where a new use, or uses, are occurring such that there has been a change in the type of use (e.g., industrial to commercial), or the property was unused and now supports a specific use. This means that the developed site or OU is actually used for its intended purpose by customers, visitors, employees, residents, or fauna, in the case of ecological reuse.
