Oil spills present a significant threat to the environment. To minimize the number, size, and impact of spills degrading the environment, EPA’s Pacific Southwest Region conducts inspections, trainings, on site spill response exercises, and enforcement. The Region also provides emergency response personnel in the event of a major spill.

Oil Spill Program Outreach
