Facilitating information exchange on cost-effective methane emissions reduction technologies and practices is the core mission of the Natural Gas STAR Program. The Natural Gas STAR Program hosts a series of Technology Transfer Workshops and the Annual Implementation Workshop to further this goal.

Methane Challenge Program Best Management Practice Webinars
EPA hosted a series of webinars to provide details about the proposed Natural Gas STAR Methane Challenge Program (“Methane Challenge”). The webinars provided an overview of the proposed Methane Challenge and the proposed Best Management Practices (BMPs) to reduce methane emissions from key recommended sources. Each webinar included a question and answer session and participants were encouraged to provide feedback. Three webinars were conducted for the following sectors:
