EPA periodically convenes technical workgroups of experts from EPA and other agencies to review and select the methods listed in Selected Analytical Methods for Environmental Remediation and Recovery (SAM). Use the Selected Methods links to view summaries of the chemical, radiochemical, pathogen and biotoxin methods selected by the SAM technical workgroups. Summaries are provided to describe method applications, procedures, instrumentation and capabilities, such as detection levels. When available, links to the full method documentation also are provided.
