Additional resources include:

• Syracuse Research Corporation (SRC) Databases Exit contain information pertaining to chemical structures, names, physical properties and persistence. PHYSPROP and CHEMFATE are sponsored by EPA.
• The International Programme on Chemical Safety's INCHEM Exit contains both chemical and toxicity information.
• The Registry of Toxic Effects of Chemical Substances (RTECS) database can be accessed via the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) website for toxicity information.
• EPA’s Integrated Risk Information System (IRIS) contains toxicity information (searchable on TOXNET).
• EPA’s Water Contaminant Information Tool (WCIT) can be accessed by registered users.
• Forensic Science Communications is published by the Laboratory Division of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).
• The European Commission's Joint Research Centre / Institute for Health & Consumer Protection Exit contains information regarding European Directive 67/548/EEC and Annex V.
• The Agency for Toxic Substances & Disease Registry (ATSDR) Toxic Substances Portal provides Toxicological Profiles.

Additional research on chemical contaminants is ongoing within EPA. Databases to manage this information are currently under development.
