Reporting Deadlines Announced for RFS reporters
On December 14, 2015, EPA published the final rule establishing:
- The Renewable Fuel Standards for the years 2014 to 2017;
- The annual compliance reporting requirements for RFS Obligated Parties for the years 2013, 2014, and 2015; and
- The attest engagement deadlines for all RFS participants for the years 2013, 2014, and 2015.

Report Submitters:
- RIN Generators = Producers and importers of renewable fuel
- Obligated Parties = Refiners and importers of non-renewable gasoline and diesel transportation fuel
- RIN Owners only = Those who owned, bought, or sold RINs during a compliance period
- Quality Assurance Plan (QAP) Providers = Independent third party auditors
