Combining electric vehicle (EV) charging stations with solar photovoltaic (PV) systems helps lower both electric and petroleum bills while supporting zero-emission vehicles and energy systems. Solar systems can be located either on-site, such as rooftops or carport parking lots, or off-site. When siting solar, ensure your solar system is properly sized for your EV charging needs and is located in direct sunlight with little to no shade.
