C-FERST can be a resource for Citizen Science activities.  The information and data in C-FERST can help communities and individuals to collect data to better understand local conditions and learn about issues of concern.  Users can also upload data from other resources onto C-FERST to supplement the existing map layers.  Some examples of how C-FERST has been used are provided here:
