Environmental Awards in the Pacific Southwest
Since 1999, EPA's Pacific Southwest office has encouraged citizens in California, Arizona, Nevada, Hawaii, the Pacific islands and tribal lands to nominate individuals or organizations for Environmental Awards.
This program offers an opportunity to recognize individuals and groups outside of EPA who are working to protect public health and the environment. Nominees may include individuals or organizations that are in the public, nonprofit or private sector, such as scientists, teachers, journalists, citizen activists, young people, nonprofit or government organizations, business representatives, public officials, and others committed to protecting public health and preserving our natural surroundings.
We are currently reviewing our 2014 award nominations. For more information, visit our Frequently Asked Questions page.
