Beryllium: National Emissions Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants

Rule Summary

On April 6, 1973, the U.S. EPA promulgated the National Emissions Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants for Beryllium.  The standards include a determination from the Administrator that sources of beryllium emissions should be controlled such that ambient air does not contain beryllium at air levels higher than 0.01 micrograms per cubic meter over a 30 day average.
