Smart Growth Matrix

The city of Austin, Texas' Smart Growth Matrix (2001) is an assessment tool to determine the smart growth attributes of a development project. City staff used the tool to evaluate how well a development met the city's smart growth criteria. Projects that significantly advanced smart growth goals were eligible for project incentives.
