Partners in Restoring Rochester Embayment AOC

The Stage II RAP recommended forming a not-for-profit group to plan, coordinate, fund and implement educational activities within the Rochester Embayment AOC. In response, the Water Education Collaborative formed in 2001. It is housed at the Rochester Museum and Science Center. It continues to educate citizens regarding their impact on water quality. Educational programs that WEC is involved with include a community water watch, teacher training programs, coastal cleanups, in-school presentations and stream bank erosion control.
