This document is written for Region 4 Project Managers, On-Scene Coordinators, and technical staff and provides a recommended approach for the evaluation and characterization of polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) in groundwater, soil, and sediment in order to support defensible and protective remedy selection at PCB contaminated sites.
