Funding Opportunity Announcement: Pesticide Safety Education Funds Management Program

We are soliciting proposals from eligible applicants to manage a Pesticide Safety Education Funds Management Program (PSEFMP). Specifically, EPA is soliciting proposals from eligible applicants to establish and administer a national subaward program in support of pesticide applicator education and training for certified applicators of restricted use pesticides. A subaward program includes, but is not limited to, the administration and distribution of funds, monitoring subrecipients and measuring and reporting on results.

The total estimated funding for this competitive opportunity is approximately $5,500,000 over a five-year period. EPA anticipates awarding one cooperative agreement from this announcement, subject to availability of funds, the quality of applications received, and other applicable considerations.

We have provided responses to questions about this RFA in the document “Qs & As Related to Request for Applications #EPA‐HQ‐OPP‐2016‐001,” below.

Applications must be submitted by December 21, 2016.
