Risk Assessment as a Critical Tool for Everyday Challenges

In coordination with the United States Embassy in Cairo, Egypt, EPA scientists provided training on “Risk Assessment as a Critical Tool for Everyday Challenges” at Cairo University Exit from May 16-20, 2012. The course was sponsored by the Toxicology & Forensic Medicine Department, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Cairo University.
 
The course offered hands-on training in the primary areas of risk assessment (i.e., hazard identification, dose-response assessment, exposure assessment, risk characterization), as well as in risk communication.  The six modules of the course are described in the document below.
