Purpose/Objective:  

The premise and purpose of this document is to standardize the analytical methods that will be used in cases when multiple laboratories are called on to analyze environmental samples following a homeland security event (i.e., CBR crime/attack). The document also is intended as a tool that will be available to assist state and local laboratories in planning for and analyzing environmental samples following a homeland security event.
