Company updates to Fuel Program registrations

Companies are required to update the registration information in OTAQREG when any changes are made. Updates fall into the following two categories.

These updates apply to all companies:

  • Situation A: I need to edit company and/or facility registration information
    1. To edit company and/or facility registration information for a registered company in CDX OTAQREG, you need to be associated with the company and have the “Company Editor” role.
    2. Read Sections 7.1 and 7.4 in this document: User guide for registering in EPA Fuel Programs
    3. After submitting your Company Update Request in CDX OTAQREG, you should see the request in your “Pending Requests” list on your OTAQ Registration Home page.
    4. The following steps depend on the RCO's e-signature capability:
      1. If the RCO has e-signature capability:
        • Your OTAQREG Home page will indicate that the status of your Company Update Request is “Awaiting RCO Electronic Signature.” You do not need to mail paperwork to EPA.
        • RCOs should follow these instructions to electronically sign and submit requests: User guide to OTAQREG for RCOs
      2. If the RCO does not have e-signature capability:
        • Your OTAQREG Home page will indicate that the status of your Company Update Request is “Awaiting RCO Wet Ink Signature.”
        • You must print the registration paperwork, have the RCO sign it, then mail all pages of the Company Update Request document to EPA: EPA's Fuel Programs Mailing Addresses.
    5. If you are editing facility information for a renewable fuel production facility, please review the regulations under §80.1450(b)(1) and §80.1450(d) to determine whether you must also submit additional registration materials.
  • Situation B: My company’s Responsible Corporate Officer (RCO) has changed
    1. To edit company and facility registration information for a registered company in CDX OTAQREG, you need to be associated with the company and have the “Company Editor” role.
    2. Read Sections 7.1 and 7.6 in this document: User guide for registering in EPA Fuel Programs
    3. Have the RCO sign the RCO Update Request paperwork generated in CDX OTAQREG and the delegation letters generated for associated users of the company. The previous RCO should also sign the request in the appropriate field if s/he is available to do so.
    4. If any associated users should be removed, draw an "X" on their delegation letters and do not have the RCO sign these pages.
    5. Send all pages of the RCO Update Request paperwork to: EPA's Fuel Programs Mailing Addresses

*If there are no associated users that can edit information in OTAQREG:
Please send an email to Fuel Programs Support for further instructions: support@epamts-support.com.

  • Situation C: My company/facility has undergone an ownership change
    1. Submit an email to Fuel Programs Support:  support@epamts-support.com
    2. Be sure to explain the details of the ownership change in your email. They will respond with instructions on how to proceed with updating your registration information.

These updates apply to the Renewable Fuel Standard only:
