Technical Guidance for Implementation of the Microbial and Disinfection Byproducts Rules

These guidance manuals support the Interim Enhanced Surface Water Treatment Rule and the Stage 1 Disinfectants/Disinfection Byproducts Rule. The manuals will aid EPA, state agencies and affected public water systems in implementing the two interrelated rules. The guidance will help to ensure that implementation among these groups is consistent. Unless otherwise noted, files are less than 800k.
