3Ts for Reducing Lead in Drinking Water in Schools: The 3Ts for Reducing Lead in Drinking Water in Schools was developed using a training, testing, telling approach, to assist schools in implementing a voluntary lead testing program. This webinar will provide a background on lead in drinking water, suggested steps for sampling at schools, discuss appropriate remediation measures, and the important aspects of an effective communication strategy.

Disinfectant Residuals: This webinar will review the history of distribution system chlorine monitoring siting, overview the diversity in state regulations/guidance, and present a case study demonstrating an evaluation of chlorine monitoring locations. This webinar will also describe how to develop a monitoring plan that is representative of the overall distribution system, collect samples to accurately characterize water quality, and understand interferences and limitations of commonly used field methods. A certificate for one continuing education contact hour will be offered for this webinar.
