The 3rd part in this series will discuss the LCR compliance determination and reporting requirements. Presenters will give an overview of lead consumer notice reporting, violations under the lead and copper rule, compliance determination examples, and data reporting by violation.

The first topic of this webinar will be the Preventive Maintenance Card File system and will cover the usefulness and future development of the system.  The second topic will cover the existing training programs highlighted in the “A Selection of Training Programs for Water and Wastewater Operators” document found on the Environmental Protection Agency’s “Water Workforce Training Programs” webpage. Participants will learn useful tips to improve day-to-day operations at their water systems, as well as learn about existing training programs that could be used/developed in their locality.

The topic of this webinar is to discuss how DWSRF can be used to fund sanitary surveys, and how state programs are collaborating to address capacity concerns at drinking water systems through the use of sanitary surveys.

Presenters will discuss public education requirements, corrosion control treatment, optimal water quality parameters, source water monitoring, and lead service line replacement requirements.

It will also review the treatment technique requirements of Stage 1 that PWSs must continue to satisfy.

Presenters will address how PWSs must comply with applicable TCR requirements (e.g., repeat sampling, PN, CCR) on or after the RTCR effective date of April 1, 2016;  and provide scenarios that demonstrate actions primacy agencies may use to return-to-compliance a PWS’s TCR non-compliance.

COMPLETED Tuesday, February 23rd, 2016 2:00-3:00pm, Eastern Consumer Confidence Reports: Electronic Delivery and Best Practices: Presenters will provide an overview for traditional and electronic delivery methods for the Consumer Confidence Report (CCR) as well as best practices for formatting the CCR. The presentation will also highlight the CCR iWriter, a tool that walks a CWS through a series of questions to produce a CCR.  Lastly, presenters will discuss improvements to the CCR Where You Live Webpage where community water systems can link the URL of an existing online CCR to the EPA website.
