New Source Performance Standards in Region 7

New Source Performance Standards
40 CFR Part 60

Standards of Performance of New Stationary Source (NSPS) are applicable requirements that must be included in a sources Title V operating permit. If you have questions about applicability of the standards, we encourage you to first discuss them with your respective state or local air pollution control agency. If you are located outside the Region 7 geographic area (e.g Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, and Nebraska) please consult with the state or local agency or EPA Regional Office in your area. If you are a state or local agency located in Region 7 and need assistance with the interpretation of a standard, please contact us.

The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality's "Decision Support System" provides a number of innovative tools to better help understand EPA's regulatory requirements. Particularly useful are the navigation flowcharts that help explain the many options provided by some rules. If the link advises to "Check Back", TCEQ is currently updating or creating the support materials. If blank, no tools are available.
