The vision and goals of the Lower Black River Ecological Restoration Master Plan were defined by a team of local, state and federal representatives who share the common realization that restoring the ecological health of the lower Black River is critical to the economic recovery of Lorain (Ohio). This Ecological Restoration Master Plan defines specific actions to help restore ecological function, and thereby help stimulate economic development, in the lower portion of the Black River, in the city of Lorain, Ohio.
