Public Hearing for Manufacturing of Nutritional Yeast: National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants

EPA will hold a public hearing on the proposed amendments to the National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants for the Manufacturing of Nutritional Yeast source category.

Following a residual risk review and technology review, EPA is proposing to revise the form of the emission limits and provide an alternative compliance option, and remove emission limit exemptions during periods of malfunction. In addition, this action will make changes to testing, monitoring, recordkeeping and reporting requirements that correct deficiencies in current methods and align requirements of this rule with those of similar emission standards.

The hearing will be held on January 25, 2017, starting at 10:00 am (Eastern Time).
