How do I find a Qualified Energy Assessor (QEA) in New England?

EPA Region 1 has compiled a list of QEA's (see below), as defined in the area source boiler rule. Energy assessors may voluntarily add their names to this list based on a self-determination that they are a QEA, as defined in the rule.  EPA has not verified or reviewed the accuracy of these self-determinations, nor does it warrant that the list is a complete and exhaustive list of all available QEAs. Owners and operators should use sound judgment to verify that the QEA they select has the capability and knowledge to perform the required energy assessment activities for their particular facility.

EPA has compiled this list for informational purposes only to assist the public in identifying possible QEAs to conduct energy assessments, as required by the rule. Inclusion on the list does not imply any endorsement by EPA, its employees or the United States government.  To request to be added to this list, please contact Patrick Bird at 617-918-1287 or bird.patrick@epa.gov.
