Rule Summary

This regulation sets standards for multiple source categories including: acetyl resins production, hydrogen fluoride production, polycarbonate, ethylene and cyanide chemical production. The rule includes requirements that are source category specific, and requirements that apply to all source categories that are regulated under the generic maximum achievable control technology (GMACT) standards subpart (e.g., general recordkeeping, reporting, compliance, operation, and maintenance requirements).
