This was the first of the SmartWay Freight Matters! webinar series where discussion centered on proven strategies used by SmartWay Partners to lower fuel costs and air emissions, how improvements in transportation efficiency net significant results in supply chain performance, and how they're making freight a part of a company's sustainability planning and goals. Leaders from Mondelez International and C.H. Robinson shared experiences regarding execution of freight strategies that reduced fuel use, costs, and carbon emissions, and they raised awareness around the value of well-managed freight.
