Smart Growth

Why Smart Growth: A Primer

A community's growth strategy can greatly influence the outcome of growth. Ultimately, these results affect the health and welfare not only of the individual community, but also of entire regions and, indirectly, the entire nation. Why Smart Growth: A Primer (1998) uses research, economic analyses, and actual community experience to illustrate smart growth. Smart growth adds value to existing communities while engaging all stakeholders and rewarding developers with profitable products.
