The Southeastern Massachusetts Smart Growth Audit (2003), produced by the Metropolitan Area Planning Council in Boston, the Old Colony Planning Council in Brockton, and the Southeastern Regional Planning and Economic Development District, is a versatile scorecard for use in the 52 communities in their collective service area. This scorecard is divided into categories that broadly reflect smart growth principles in Massachusetts.
