Making a Visible Difference in Communities Home

The St. Louis River Corridor is the focus and priority for environmental, health and economic development in Duluth. The “St. Louis River Corridor Strategic Action Framework” will direct funding priorities within the corridor in a way that improves water quality and supports the revitalization and economic development goals of Corridor communities. These communities include:
- Lincoln Park
- West Duluth
- Morgan Park
- Gary
- New Duluth
The City’s area wide planning encompasses Smart Growth, green and sustainable infrastructure needs, and addressing communities with environmental justice concerns. Previous Brownfield assessment grants have enabled the City to complete a brownfields inventory within these communities.
