MDEQ releases an updated delisting guide for each of the BUIs in the Michigan Areas of Concern. |

MDEQ publishes a RAP update.

An update to the RAP is published. |
2005-2006 |
PCB paper sludge is excavated at Lagoon 1 and an area just west of that. The waste is properly disposed of, removing a direct contact hazard. |
2004 |
MDEQ awardes the City of Monroe a Coastal Management Program grant to conduct a field assessment of all open waterways within the city. |
2003-2004 |
MDEQ and EPA conduct a post-navigational dredging study that samples contaminated sediment. PCBs from the turning basin downstream is identified as the primary contamination “hot spot.” |

An update to the RAP is published. |

A river assessment is conducted that describes much of the geography, geology, and geomorphology of River Raisin. The report also includes management strategies. |
