Title: STAR Research and Demonstration of Innovative Drinking Water Treatment Technologies in Small Systems Progress Review Meeting
Date: Oct. 2, 2014

Location:

Webinar

Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center
Medical Education Building, Room S10 (3109)
1901 Perdido Street
New Orleans, LA

Purpose:

Please join us for a research progress review on improving the ability of small water systems to protect the health and water quality in their communities. Many small water systems are challenged to efficiently and effectively provide safe water to their users because of limited managerial, financial, and technical resources. In 2011, EPA funded 11 projects on the design of sustainable technologies for small drinking water systems. EPA continued this effort by funding two National Research Centers for innovation in small drinking water systems. At this meeting, STAR grantees from both funding opportunities will present their research plans and any progress.
