Regulations and Volume Standards under the Renewable Fuel Standard Program
Regulations for the Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS) program are under 40 CFR Part 80: Regulation of Fuels and Fuel Additives, Subparts K and M. The RFS rule promulgated in 2007, occasionally known as “RFS1”, is Subpart K; “RFS2”, promulgated in 2010, is Subpart M.
