Under National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System permit number CO-R042005, the Federal Corrections Institution (FCI), Englewood is authorized to discharge from all municipal separate storm sewer system (MS4) outfalls existing as of the effective date of this permit to receiving waters which include Bear Creek, the South Platte River, and other associated waters of the United States within the exterior boundaries of FCI Englewood in the City of Lakewood, Jefferson County, Colorado.
