U.S. EPA to Discuss Report Showing Significant Drop in Air Pollution from Toxic Chemicals in Thursday Media Webinar

WASHINGTON – Industrial facilities covered under the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Toxics Release Inventory (TRI) program are reporting a substantial decrease in releases of toxic chemicals into the environment between 2005 and 2015.

Jim Jones, EPA assistant administrator for the Office of Chemical Safety and Pollution Prevention, and TRI staff, will discuss this and other key findings from today’s TRI National Analysis in a media call and webinar at 1 P.M. Eastern.
