WASHINGTON - U.S. EPA Administrator Gina McCarthy and David Bloom, U.S. EPA Acting Chief Financial Officer, will testify Thursday before the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Energy on Interior, Environment and Related Agencies on FY 2016 Budget. EPA's proposed budget provides resources to ensure that the agency can make the investments needed to meet its mission to protect public health and the environment.

EPA is collaborating with state, local, and tribal partners and working with business, industry, and stakeholders to find commonsense solutions to complex environmental issues and build a sustainable future for all Americans through effective use of public resources. The funding allows for important work to combat the impacts of climate change and deliver on the President's Climate Action Plan while improving air quality, protecting water, executing rigorous scientific research and ensuring public safety from toxic chemicals.
