Commissioned by the EPA Administrator, the Lean Action Board (LAB) was launched in January 2016 to help build on the successes from the over 100 Lean projects conducted by the Agency since 2014. To optimize internal EPA operations and programmatic areas shared with States, the LAB will evaluate and select a limited number of Lean projects whose results can be transferred or scaled up to better accomplish our mission of protecting human health and the environment. The LAB will be examining both Lean projects done internally at EPA and done in coordination with external stakeholders.  For more information, review the LAB Charter and the 2016 LAB Strategy.
