Public meetings
On July, 7, 2016, the Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality (LDEQ) hosted a community meeting to discuss chloroprene monitoring efforts in LaPlace. Officials from LDEQ, EPA, Denka Performance Elastomer LLC, and local parish government were available to answer questions and provide updates on monitoring results.
