They hold many community events during the year and adopt management strategies to ensure the Kalamazoo River is protected in the long-term.

The Kalamazoo River Webline is a source for up-to-date information regarding the Kalamazoo River Superfund site. The website provides summaries of cleanup projects and results of investigations and feasibility studies in the area.

MDNR works to implement a watershed management plan for the Lower Kalamazoo.
