Integrated Climate and Land-Use Scenarios
[UPDATE] In January 2017, EPA announced the availability of the final report, Updates to the Demographic and Spatial Allocation Models to Produce Integrated Climate and Land Use Scenarios (ICLUS) (Version 2).
EPA’s Integrated Climate and Land-Use Scenarios (ICLUS) project explores future changes in human population, housing density, and impervious surface for the United States. These projections are broadly consistent with peer-reviewed storylines of population growth and economic development that are now widely used by the climate change impacts community. Articles, reports and map-based tools are available to help visualize and understand these potential changes.
