This document guides parties working on a corrective action cleanup through four tasks: identification and development of the corrective measures alternative(s), evaluation of the corrective measures alternative(s), justification and recommendation of the corrective measure(s), and reports. The purpose of the CMS is to develop and evaluate the corrective action alternative(s) and to recommend the corrective measure(s) be taken at the facility.
