Dr. Sailor gave an overview of the Mitigation Impact Screening Tool, which provides back of the envelope estimates of temperature, energy, and ground-level ozone impacts from implementing heat island reduction strategies. Dr. Sailor also provided an overview of his research modeling the building energy impacts from green roofs.
