Green Power Partnership Top 30 Retail

Released on October 24, 2016

GPP Top 30 Retail logoThe Top 30 Retail list represents the largest green power users among retail partners within the Green Power Partnership. The combined green power usage of these organizations amounts to more than 4.6 billion kilowatt-hours of green power annually, which is equivalent to the electricity use of nearly 423,000 average American homes each year.

It's our responsibility to protect the natural places our customers and employees enjoy. We are encouraged that our overall energy use has been essentially flat in recent years, while we have grown significantly and connected more members and customers to the outdoors. We intend to generate enough local renewable energy for our total electricity needs, but until then, RECs will be an important part of our energy strategy.
